Yep went MIA!

I've been MIA and I apologize for it!

I have been consumed with visitors, school starting for my children, their activities, my husband's work, and my number of things.

So where do we start….Well first thing I decided back in July was to start up my photography business. It has been going fantastic. Slowly getting started but fantastic! I love every moment of capturing every little moment between a parent or loved one, and every giggle….
If you would like to check it out, it's a work in progress that I continue to do daily:

On to other news, we are PCSing come August of 2016….Yes the Army has bigger plans for my husband.

On top of him taking over the Sr Drill Sergeant, I took over the lovely FRG Leader position. It has been fun getting to have more say and to push more activities.

Last but not least my school! I am down to one hand of how many months I have left till graduating from Full Sail University in Sports Marketing and Media and I am over the moon excited for it.

So now that you are somewhat caught up, what is new with you? How are you all planning your future? Are you making big amazing changes for your future? If so what?

Hump Day Humor

WOOHOO It's Wednesday!

So to keep making this week go a little faster, we are going to add some humor into your life!

Lately my husband and I have been trying to stay away from junk food, it's HARD! I'm a big girl and love fat foods, and as my husband says, he's an inner food hoarder. Well do to that, my husband likes to sneak eat junk food at work. Yes that means he is eating candy at work, from his co-workers!

Apparently while he was at work this was his fun

JERKFACE!lol

Apparently he had a secret while he was at it, he had choked on one of them chewy chocolate treats, and was about to pass out. Thankfully his co-worker(yes not using military terms!lol) noticed it because those was her, and came up to him and hit him on his back just in time. Just in that moment the big chunk of tootsie rolls, yes more then one was being chewed up, and landed right on some important documents!

Almost serves him right!lol

So as this is our Hump Day Humor, what is some Humor going on in your life? SPILL!!!!

Weekly Struggles

Is it really Monday again? Do we really have to be up earlier than normal? NOOOOO!
I miss my pillow!

So today thankfully wasn't one of them rushing to get gets out the door and on the bus, it was more like a little nudge! WOOHOO!

Due to my husband graduating college this past weekend my children had a 3 day weekend. They I think was more ready for school then normal. We had lunches prepared and we had everything prepped to hit the door.

Just this momma wasn't ready to get out of the bed, meaning I brushed hair with one eye open, put breakfast on the table with both eyes hardly open, and made my weight lost shake dreading that I probably gained a few extra pounds over the weekend with the weight already creeping up!

So on to the weekend. MY HUSBAND IS A COLLEGE GRAD!!! He graduated with Magna Cum Laude!! That's a 3.8GPA for some of you that might not know, and also with his "Salute" Honors.(He was just missing his cords that still hadn't came in.

The bummer about the day, it was pouring down rain so all of us basically looked like drowned rats….ok him not so much!

I know when many people are married and they say they have crappy in laws, I have been blessed to have an amazing set of in laws that have been there for us during some amazing events in our lives.

This was my Mother in laws proud moment for sure. Mind you I'm not discrediting my husband's two older brothers on their accomplishments but he is the first of him and his brothers to graduate from college. My husband did his college classes in a 14 year span yes but he has been Active Duty Army, married, three children, deployed two times, lived over in Germany, did military schools, and is now a Drill Sergeant that works basically 24/7. Now he says his plan is to get his Masters Degree so when retirement comes out of the Army, he can be a History Teacher.

So up next is for him to enroll in his Masters program and get busy doing that, and for me to finished my last 10 months and 2 weeks of college myself!

So for all of you readers, what is something you hope you can accomplish in your life? What do you hope for that is in the plans for your children if you are a parent?

Crafty Saturday!

So as you have seen before, I am a Pinterest FREAK!

As a mom I'm striving every day to be more organized, having things clean around the house daily for that unexpected guest that drops in.

One of our biggest issues in our home is the kids and their backpacks every day after school, and in the winter, their winter gear. I have them put them in their rooms but that consists of me throwing one child's down the stairs, tripping over the other, or just seeing them on our dinning room chairs. If anyone knows my husband also, he's OCD! If things aren't perfect we have a grumpy goat on our hands. So with that being I searched Pinterest for a solution and kept coming back to this beauty!

My issue is that I didn't want to make it look like a young child's window, I wanted to keep it looking rustic big time as already in my laundry room I have washboards and vintage looking rug. With it being in my laundry room I didn't want it to have photos because seriously, no one would see the cute photos of my kiddos. So with that I wanted to add a chalk boards. I knew I wanted a to do section under their area so they could see the most important things on their area to do and reminders before school.

I scored this really nice window at a local antique store for $15.00 but painted HORRIBLE!

After sanding some and spraying chalkboard paint

All done, yes it has white on it due to J wanting to help and that's ok, it's rustic and it means more knowing he helped!
The hooks are mounted to the wall not the window, I didn't want it to get even heavier. This bad boy weighs about 15 pounds!
I wanted to make sure that not only do they have their to do, but had a small reminder for the day, and also to know we love them! :)

So I come to you, how do you organize your house? Comment below! I would love some input!

Covergirl Influenster Box!!!

I'm a little excited for this blog post! I'm apart of a great website called Influenster! Your tasked to do reviews, opinions, and connect your social media outlets so you can be more of an "Influence". They tend to send you monthly boxes if you answer questions, or submit to certain questionnaires.

This month was CoverGirl!

You have no idea how much I was excited to try out these two products. I actually put these on before I had to head to a meeting at my husband's work.

One was the eyeliner, Intensify Me Eyeliner.

From the Covergirl site on how the product is to be: "Get the control of a pencil with the intensity of a liquid eyeliner for beautifully defined eyes every time. Our all-new paddle-shaped tip gives you two looks in one—thick and dramatic or thin and elegant. The intense black formula glides on smoothly and dries quickly for instant drama. Clinically tested, suitable for sensitive eyes."

I love the fact that it is so easy to be put on, not going to drive my sensitive eyes crazy. The negative is that it comes off way to easily. This runs around $8.00 they say on the site.

Next up the Super Sizer Mascara.

From the Covergirl site on how the product is to be: "The Super Sizer by LashBlast Mascara gives you 400% more corner-to-corner volume for full, fanned out lashes. Our amazing Lash Styler transforms even small lashes— just twirl as you apply it to your lashes for an instantly Super Sized lash look. Opthalmologically tested, suitable for those who wear contact lenses."

I absolutely LOVE this stuff, only downer is it was easy to wipe off after awhile. If you can't tell I like to one and done with my makeup as much as I can! As a mom of 3, I hardly have time to even put it on. Thankfully it runs on their site for $6.85.

Overall I will keep using it, and will possibly get it the next time I need some because of how long my lashes look, and also how easy it is to apply. Plus I when I do wear makeup, don't apply a TON because I don't want to look all crazy!

Here is a before and after!

Before:

After:

Hope this helps you for your future purchases. Hit up the site to order some of your new products to wear!

Once again I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.

Hump Day Humor!

Yes THANK GOODNESS IT'S WEDNESDAY!

We all have so much going on in our week that today is almost a must!

As with how stressful this busy week I had to sit and actually think about a funny humor story….This past week we have really been busy working on getting our house organized for the next couple days. As I'm cleaning my son begs to sweep the deck while I'm cleaning our sliding class door. As he's sweeping he's getting into it. He turns around with pride, and comes to tell me about how good of a job he is doing. As he does that he knocks himself right into the window! He just starts busting up laughing, yes not crying but laughing! He tells me that it was because it didn't look like the glass was there!

Oh the little things that gives you chuckles! What is some of the things that is the humor in your life?

Yes I fell behind!

Yep I didn't get to post the Monday Struggles, why? I was struggling plain and simple with Monday! Let me say last weekend took it out on this lady!

Saturday while trying to spend time with my amazing husband, I had the luxury of along with my husband working on homework. My last week of two classes was Sunday but I was not going to have Sunday to work on anything.

The reason why I was not able to do homework:
My handsome "little" cousin is now a DOCTOR!!! He was attending the St. Louis School of Pharmacy for 6 years.

His graduation was so beautiful! They held it in the St. Louis Opera House. His class between transfers was 280 but through graduation we became informed he had 206 in his class. The graduation had been 2.5 hours long kicking it off with a bang was bagpipes! WHAT! Yes that is correct bagpipes bring in all the professors and after an orchestra brought in my cousin.

I'm so thankful he let me attend because in all honesty I don't think that I would have missed it even if he didn't! Up next my daughter's District Honor Choir performance with a slight surprise from my in laws coming in. I'm the only one(and now you the readers) knows! After that we are off to my husband's college graduation! He's got me on cloud  nine on pride! Through 2 deployments and years of working his butt off, he's finally walking!!!

So when you have that slammed weekend, how do you survive Monday?

Happy Tuesday!!!

Sunday Funday!!

Unplug a little, have a picnic, do some yard work, play in sprinklers, do something you wish you could be doing if you wasn't on here!

Then Monday come back on here and tell me what you did!

Craft Time!

I am a Pintrest fan through and through. I might never be able to do everything but hey isn't it the thought that counts?

So for this week I have always wanted to do something like this photo below at the bottom of our stairs to our basement area.

As you might know, my last name doesn't start with an L, but with an S. Also I surely don't have that big of a wall.

So for my birthday my husband was sweet enough to release me free in a Hobby Lobby when we was near one I might add, and add again the night before he was to have eye surgery! Yes an amazingly husband I have!

I wanted to change it up but keep the same concept, I wanted to add in our first initials for our family of 5. I wanted it to have our family frame in the middle, as I consider our family as being the center of my world. I also wanted to keep it one color with a possibility I could or couldn't add frames and possibly add more to it.

Well this is the end result! Hope you enjoy!

Hump Day Humor

Woohoo the week is almost over! So for some fun I thought I would make this day something to make that would make the last few days really out with a bam because we all know the start it's slow dreaded!

So lets hear your Hump Day Humor!

For us lately our humor has came from our dogs. We have two girl German Shepherds, a 10 year old and an 7 month old. As I'm working on my homework I happen to look into our bedroom I notice on my nicely made bed lies a 35 pound baby. Yep the 7 month old shepherd named Nico. She's laying with her head dangling off our bed that mind you is a ways up off the floor, so like a slinky you see her slip and fall off the bed!

Yes not done laughing at her there mind you!!

After she falls off she looks around with a face of "Please tell me no one noticed me do that?!" then jumps right back up!

Yes our home is insane all around….

So what is some of your Hump Day Humor to give us some laughs?

Weekly Schedule Struggles

So admit it, we all struggle on Monday so much more then any other day. I have trouble sleeping on Sunday night after getting the pleasure of sleeping in 2.5 hours extra and possibly a nap with the whole family.

On top of the fun, I get the luxury of staying home with my kids but waking up two cranky monster girls at 6:30a.m. We are scrambling for backpacks, getting hair perfect, breakfast down them without fighting with each other. The list keeps going on and on.

I think my struggle it to just not sit and relax all day because I'm so worn out from having all 3 kids, and getting ready for the next week of school.

So what is your week like? Do you have certain days for certain cleaning chores? Do you prep on Sunday's for certain things or do you fly by the seat of your pants on what is going on with your day.

Give some tips! HELP!!!!

Crafty much?

Saturday is my days to get things done. I normally am stuck in the house doing homework and house work during the week so when it's the weekend, late Nights and EARLY mornings is for when homework is consumed and the rest is my fun days.

The last two weekends it's been a fun filled time with Pintrest fun. Yes come on and admit it, you love Pintrest as much as me! So I hope to post every Saturday a project to a Pintrest pin I love.

This Saturday I'm introducing you to my laundry room fun! I purchased two washboards, had a friend bless me with old fashioned style hangers, and picked a favorite color Inormally wouldn't, then add letters with magnets to stick and BAM pretty cute and vintage still wall art!

Hope this inspires you to get your crafty self busy to escape from whatever it is you need too! :)

Something on the mind.

So I'm taking a break from a homework assignment to really get some things out that have really been on my mind the last couple days. Yes you might be thinking, if she is taking a break from homework, this might be really important to Angela…..

As many of my close friends know that my husband and I had tried forever to get pregnant and stay pregnant after our oldest daughter. We had three miscarriages in between our two girls. My body kept rejecting the babies like blood clots. So with that I had to be on medication ASAP when I got pregnant and during. With our son, our mid deployment present, I almost lost him around ten weeks and once again I was on meds but was put on bed rest.

With all of our struggles, I still want another one but I know it's not physically possible after my L&D with our son and also now my husband has gotten fixed. MEN!

I lately see people getting pregnant like they just ordered a pregnancy with their morning coffee and it kills me to know how many of my friends haven't been able to enjoy even just one child. I would give anything to have them just to be able to have that moment of feeling the baby kick, holding him or her at birth. Hearing that first cry, and changing the millionth diaper at 4am.

Recently a friend of mine is on her one year mark of finding out she was pregnant but soon loosing the only child she has ever been able to carry and it breaks my heart. I wish we could say or do something to take that pain away from friends. What the hell can you do? All you can do is pray to whatever God you believe in and put them in it every night that they get their prayers answered.

So my question for you, have you ever wanted something so bad for a friend or loved ones that you would do whatever it took to help them? How do you help them through the hard times to get them to the laughing so hard you cry and squirt a drink out your nose times?

Please excuse the mess…..

As you might see that we have some blogs popping up like crazy tonight. I'm currently in a move….

A blog site move!

Yes that's right I'm transferring what few blogs I have over to this blog site. I'm currently taking a class that requires a blog on this site, so to make things easier I figured this way would help for the future too.

Sorry once again for the inconvenience but in the time being please enjoy the few posts that are in here so you can get to know a little bit about your blogger.

10 years of bliss?

Yes I am talking about marriage! My husband and I have been married 10 years and like any normal marriage there has been many ups and downs. We have survived 3 children, 2 deployments, 3 miscarriages, loss of loved ones, loss of fur babies, and much more.
 1st Cycle Fill
Over this past weekend as my husband was fixing my child’s bike I thought about how amazing my husband is. He has been through so much struggle in his life that I can’t even imagine being through that much. Our soldiers in today’s world it’s even hard because of the deployments. As being a spouse I also have to help him through the wall of emotions. It’s no picnic in the park but honestly I couldn’t see myself without him.
Today’s society divorce is almost like your drivers licenses. It’s sad honestly. I being a military spouse have seen so many marriages just go out the window and it always worries me. Thankfully with my husband I am always comforted by the fact that we keep our communication open of what needs to be worked on.
IMG_3624
Well now back to seeing him helping our child…..butterflies like a teenage crush! Yes I’m madly in love with him more then I was over 10 years ago….I just wish he would get some gray hair because dang I need to slow down the hair coloring compared to him!
A few weeks ago I was even blessed to once again see him in his element. His element of work that is. My husband is a head Drill Sgt of his platoon. Thankfully I volunteer to help out with them, basically to make sure that the drill sergants get food during the busy hours, help them with whatever is needed during trainings that I can go get for them at home. Along with that I get to take amazing photos when they are training. I have seen over 200 babies turn into some amazing soldiers. I wouldn’t have it any way. I know that my husband had a part in it, I know that he is a father role model to them.
IMG_3613
So for all of you that are spouses, fiancés, or dreaming about that husband in the future, what is something that you think would be your bliss moment?

Changes for the Streit family

As many of you know I’m a college student, a mom, a wife to someone that is active duty Army…..and yes I’m not in a padded room at the local crazy house! With my crazy life I have taken up one of the most greatest escapes and that is the love for photography. Well with that being a Sports Marketing and Media major I am wanting to expand on to my education to add a little art in my life.
Recently I have decided to actually continue on to my education with getting my Masters Degree in Media Design. This degree is thankfully is like Graphic Design and I get the pleasure to add a little art! At my school thankfully my major for my Masters Degree it would be a year long!!!
On to now my husband’s changes…..Oh Army oh Army…..
He is now taking over the company that he is working and will be the head Drill Sergeant. If anyone knows my husband, they know that he will give only a 110% or more of his dedication to his job. He has started taking over while they are waiting for their next group of soldiers to come in for basic and AIT so we shall see.
Along with this, he is on the fence of extending his two year commitment to be a total of three years to stabilize our family as much as possible.
On to helping with his job, I am now the FRG leader of the company. I’m excited to do this job because it will be a different challenge because it’s a different world. We don’t have deployments, and we have a smaller group of people. I hope I make some Gator’s proud!
So anyone have any advice they would like to throw out for anyone going through a TON of changes?
—Angela

I’m a full-time online college student majoring in Sports Marketing and Media at Full Sail University based out of Winter Park FL. I love school like no other but then on the other hand hate it because I enjoy trying to spend as much time with my bunch. Since getting to school I have really found my passion of photography. I’m slowly learning it and I hope that I can be able to add that passion into my future career.

So besides my cute kiddos, yeah you know they are pretty dang cute and you wanna pinch those cute cheeks! I have a few other loves of my life. Them few is a German Shepherd that is named Gretta, she is 9 years young. She was my Grandfather’s dog and after he passed away over 6 years ago we added her to our bunch. The second Pug is Sir Chubs(Chubs just for short), he’s 7 months and we hope to have him a girlfriend to add soon to our family. Our last but not least is our sweet kitty, Bella. She has been in our family around 7 years.

So now that you know much about us here is what I hope that I get to share with you! I’m training for a half marathon, it’s my motivation to loose weight. Talk through my battle with depression and anxiety. Some challenges with school and being a mom and wife all while striving for a 3.0 the whole time. I also want to share my very crazy loud input on things like I love doing and just trying to live my dream of being one of them bloggers. No I’m not planning on being a Perez Hilton level of blogger(oh heck I don’t want to even be on his level in many ways! No offense, nothing but love Perez!lol) So welcome, hope to see you follow, and stay reading! Leave some input of what you would like to see!
