Yes I am talking about marriage! My husband and I have been married 10 years and like any normal marriage there has been many ups and downs. We have survived 3 children, 2 deployments, 3 miscarriages, loss of loved ones, loss of fur babies, and much more.
Over this past weekend as my husband was fixing my child’s bike I thought about how amazing my husband is. He has been through so much struggle in his life that I can’t even imagine being through that much. Our soldiers in today’s world it’s even hard because of the deployments. As being a spouse I also have to help him through the wall of emotions. It’s no picnic in the park but honestly I couldn’t see myself without him.
Today’s society divorce is almost like your drivers licenses. It’s sad honestly. I being a military spouse have seen so many marriages just go out the window and it always worries me. Thankfully with my husband I am always comforted by the fact that we keep our communication open of what needs to be worked on.

Well now back to seeing him helping our child…..butterflies like a teenage crush! Yes I’m madly in love with him more then I was over 10 years ago….I just wish he would get some gray hair because dang I need to slow down the hair coloring compared to him!

A few weeks ago I was even blessed to once again see him in his element. His element of work that is. My husband is a head Drill Sgt of his platoon. Thankfully I volunteer to help out with them, basically to make sure that the drill sergants get food during the busy hours, help them with whatever is needed during trainings that I can go get for them at home. Along with that I get to take amazing photos when they are training. I have seen over 200 babies turn into some amazing soldiers. I wouldn’t have it any way. I know that my husband had a part in it, I know that he is a father role model to them.
So for all of you that are spouses, fiancés, or dreaming about that husband in the future, what is something that you think would be your bliss moment?
